Monitoring of a rotary gripper using the MZT7

After the press-fit process, part AB is placed back down on the workpiece carrier. In the next process step, a pneumatic rotary gripper grips part AB, turns it over and places it on the ultrasonic welding station. Two MZT7 magnetic cylinder sensors monitor whether the gripper is open or part AB is gripped. Only when the gripper has gripped the workpiece should the next process step start in which the gripper places part AB down on the ultrasonic welding station.
