The main task of Gulftainer Company Limited is control and operation of the container terminals in the ports of Khalid and KhorFakkan. One of the Gulftainer subsidiaries in the Indian Ocean (KhorFakkan Container Terminal, KCT) is located in the port of KhorFakkan, United Arab Emirates. KCT operates 20 quay cranes for loading and unloading container ships. Position determination

Detection
SICK's sensors provide assistance for controlling and maneuvering cranes and other vehicles. They detect containers and bulk materials that are to be picked up by transportation equipment and identify persons and objects in the vicinity of moving vehicles.
