2D-LiDAR-based shelf monitoring at the smart shelf

In order to implement smart shelfs, it is important to record the compartment position of transport containers during storage and retrieval. A 2D-LiDAR sensor of the TiM series therefore detects goods movements in the rack front several square meters in size in its field of view. With the help of intelligent pre-processing of the measurement data in the sensor, the exact rack position can be determined.
