Volume measurement and identification of loads on a sorting robot

The sorting robot travels to a measurement and identification station to obtain information about the volume of the load and the unloading destination. The dimensions are recorded by the 3D vision camera. To ensure that a parcel arrives at the correct unloading location, it is marked with a unique code. The Lector85x image-based code reader quickly and reliably identifies a variety of 1D and 2D bar codes on different types and sizes of shipments.
