Printing screen positioning in soldering paste printers

Solder paste printers can process circuit boards of all sizes; however for this, they need precise position data (± 10 μm). The TTK70 linear absolute encoder supplies this data and does not require a new initialization process when the size of the printed circuit boards changes. Two Inspector P30 vision sensors with dome light detect the alignment marks on the printed circuit boards and check that they are correctly aligned with respect to the printing template. This ensures flexible and high-performance SMD placement of printed circuit boards.
