Consistent identification of production materials in printed circuit board panels
The use of UHF-RFID technology in PCB production enables transparent production processes and complete traceability. This makes it possible to consistently identify production material, beginning with SMD production to final assembly of the electronic components all the way to the final product. To do so, printed circuit board panels on automated guided carts (AGCs) are identified with an RFU61x. Thanks to its compact design, the RFID read/write device can be integrated in very small spaces. RFID tags on the printed circuit board panels also ensure an efficient material flow in SMD production.
