ESD-safe identification of electronic components

Image-based code readers from SICK reliably identify printed circuit boards or device assemblies in electrode manufacturing. Selected sensors intended for use in the direct vicinity to such components are subjected to special ESD safety tests in order to protect electrostatically sensitive components, integrated circuits and assemblies from damage.
